The Story Behind My First TailsofWildlife Calendar
There is something special about photographing wildlife.
You never really know what is going to happen. You can spend hours outside waiting, walking through the woods, watching, listening and sometimes the most unforgettable moment happens in just a few seconds.
That is what inspired me to create my 2027 TailsofWildlife Wildlife Calendar.
A Year of Wildlife Through My Lens
Over time, I have collected many wildlife photographs from my time outdoors. Each photograph represents a different moment, location, and experience.
Some images required patience. Others happened unexpectedly. But every one of them reminds me why I love wildlife photography.
I wanted to bring those moments together into something people could enjoy throughout the entire year, not just as photographs on a screen, but as something you could actually hang in your home or office and enjoy every day.
That's when the idea for a 2027 wildlife calendar started to become a reality.
Choosing the Photographs
Creating the calendar wasn't as simple as choosing twelve of my favorite photographs.
I wanted each month to tell its own little story.
I looked through my wildlife collection from the last year and selected images that represented different animals, environments, seasons, and moments I've experienced while photographing nature.
The goal was to create a calendar that feels like a small journey through the wild.
Twelve months. Twelve wildlife moments. One year of nature.
Photographing Wildlife Responsibly
One of the most important parts of my photography is respecting the animals and their environment.
The photographs featured in my work are captured with the intention of observing wildlife without interfering with their natural behavior.
For me, wildlife photography isn't just about getting the perfect photograph. It's about appreciating the animal, respecting its space, and preserving the experience.
That's why one of the messages behind this calendar is:
Capturing Nature. Preserving Wonder.
Turning the Idea Into a Calendar
Once I had selected the photographs, the next challenge was designing the calendar itself.
I wanted the design to feel connected to the outdoors—natural, elegant, and timeless—while still making the photographs the center of attention.
I also wanted the calendar to represent TailsofWildlife and the journey I'm building through my wildlife photography.
After working through the photographs, layout, typography, branding, and final design, the calendar finally came together.
Seeing the finished product for the first time was incredibly rewarding.
What started as individual moments photographed in nature had become a complete calendar that could be shared with other people.

This calendar is more than just a product for me.
It represents the time I've spent outdoors, the animals I've had the opportunity to photograph, and my passion for sharing the beauty of wildlife with others.
